The journey was over, yet one heartbeat later, it continued.<\/p>\n<p>Or something like that. <\/p>\n<p>Still in the game, with worse (and better!) events taking place long after that time 31 yrs. ago. But, yea, verily, still in the game. <em>Maktub<\/em>. The Universe does things to yourself. Nobody gets away from The Universe. <em>Maktub<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>N.B. Light snow today in Chase, Md., high temp of 25&deg;F. Also, even 31 years later, the name Rick Gates continues to invade the news feeds, albeit a different Rick Gates. Apologies to any innocent, less-notorious gentlemen named Rick Gates happening to read this.
