Town (1/½) — The opener went to General Wilko at $23.60. The race was classically contentious, and the ’General was third-best on the conventional Betting Line at Fair Odds of 4-1. Old-School Champeens collected, even as Progressive-Oriented LifeLiners had to pass this one up.

Evangeline (3/1½) — The $95-straight winner in Race 2, North Hullen, was a get for the High-Octane chancers; even though the race seemed to have a strong top pick at actual odds of 7-10, North Hullen had a sufficient 82 on the LifeLiner Spread Column analysis. Later, Race 6 had Fifty Five Steel, $21.20, coming through as a Betting Line-type overlay (without any LifeLiner backing) in a contentious race, similar to the horse mentioned in the Chas. Town commentary above.

Fonner (3/1) — A contentious Race 1 was all over the map in terms of first-timers and untalented experienceds, and the debuting Johnette Junior had a qualifying connection-line readout of 14pc/10pc/N/A. She won at $44.40.

Golden Gate (1/1) — High-Octane Chancers were buoyed by the Dual Qualifier Saint Mamie (81, 82) in the finale, even though the race was not contentious.
