Plus some Laker Girls and the unnamed Dodger mascot, herein called ‘Dodger Guy’. As for the ice hockey, the Ducks edged the Kings, 3-2, to go top of the Pacific Division; the Ducks are now 3-1 against the Kings this season.

Free ones: Rundown…

Aqueduct 6
Gulfstream Park Proper 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12
Santa Anita 4, 5, 7, 8

Pay-side (Weekday/Weekend): Today…

Fair Grounds 2, 6, 8, 9
Golden Gate 1, 9
Oaklawn 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Tampa 6, 8, 9, 10
Turfway 1, 2, 3
Turf Paradise 5, 7

Today’s Stakes Pageantry: Probably OK for #4 Quijote in Aqueduct 5.

Yesterday’s Activity:

Track (Win Mutuels $20+/Gettable)

Aqueduct (1/0) — Knickerbockers down visiting Pistons, 102-89; Carmelo Anthony scores a game-high 24 pts. for the victors.

Chas. Town (2/1) — Not a contentious race, the fourth, but Island Sunset had the qualifying 82 in the LifeLiner Speed Column analysis (complete LifeLiner array: 60-61-82), and he ran to that characterization, closing like crazy for the win by a clean neck at $20-even.

Delta (0/0) — Pelicans lose at home to Jazz, 106-94; Anthony Davis had a game-high 29 pts. for New Orleans.

Fair Grounds (2/1) — Hoo-boy. Here we go. Race 10 was not contentious, but High-Octane Chancers would have made the play on Pinson, owner of the sufficient 84 in the LifeLiner Spread Column (complete LifeLiner array: 98-89-62), especially at his real-life odds of 60¢ shy of 40-1. Pinson went gate-to-wire to prevail by a resolute half-length at $80.80-straight. High-Octane Chancers rule!

Fonner (2/1) — Another noncontentious race, and another winnable opportunity for the High-Octane Chancers. Race 3 had Myperfectsoulmate registering the top LifeLiner Speed Column analysis number in the field; as well, he married that (note: see what we did there?) with Dual Qualifier status. Myperfectsoulmate broke maiden today at $21 up top.

Golden Gate (0/0) — Sharks get doubled-up at home against Canucks, 4-2; Vancouver’s Jacob Markstrom stopped 32 of 34 shots faced.

Gulf (3/2) — Blofeld was the Bond Villain in Race 11: a $21.40 winner in a noncontentious race. Blofeld, a Dual Qualifier (88, 82) was well within the grasp of the High-Octane Chancers. In the next race, publicly touted Grand Tito, top of the Betting Line and a Dual Qualifier (80, 80), came through at $20.40, with the natural double returning $243.80. As always, hope you had ’em.

Sam Houston (1/0) — Rockets lose on the road to Chicago, 108-100; James Harden had 36 for Houston.

Los Alamitos (0/0) — Also among the winning Orange Co. (Calif.) professional sports teams: Anaheim, 9-7 over Seattle, in the Cactus League Baseball; Halo leadoff batter Andrelton Simmons went hitless in 3 at-bats, striking out twice.

Mahoning (1/1) — Dual Qualifier Another Story, $21 upsetter of Race 3, was a Dual Qualifier in a noncontentious race. Complete LifeLiner array: 98-97-96, and he ran to that characterization, going gate-to-wire to win by 2½. Again, no public touting because of a seemingly too-strong top selection; however, High-Octane Chancers don’t care about such arbitrary labels. They most likely are correct in doing so.

Oaklawn (0/0) — Razorbacks trounced at home by Gamecocks in men’s hoopball; Dusty Hannahs had 16 pts. in the loss.

PennNat (1/1) — The recurring theme today: noncontentious race, unfancied runner with support from the LifeLiner Speed Column or LifeLiner Spread Column (or both), the unfancied runner wins anyway. Here was Let the Saints in the seventh, a very good 87 in the LifeLiner Speed Column despite being ignored on the conventional V6 Betting Line. Let the Saints was bodily assumed into the winner’s circle, leaving behind a $23 mutuel to his faithful in Grantville, Penna.

Keystone (3/1) — In the finale, Just a Taste had the top LifeLiner Spread Column number in the field, a contentious field with equally troubled firsters and experienceds, and Just a Taste won accordingly: in front all the way en route to a 1¾-length win at $23.80.

Santa Anita (3/0) — Dodgers trounce D’backs in Cactus League action; Japanese import Kenta Maeda started for Los Angeles and threw 2 shutout innings.

Sunland (2/1½) — Both winners were makeable. Firster Seams Discreet was fine on his connection-line readout (16pc/17pc/20pc), and was lodged in a contentious lineup with equally shaky experienceds and debut issues. In the nightcap ninth, Pro Polly was a straightforward ‘B’ Horse in the contentious Betting Line setup, Fair Odds of 6-1. Pro Polly won at $68.20 for the classical-overlay players. Half a get on her.

Tampa (2/1) — Race 9 had publicly touted Bonkersmate Sequiota prevailing at $21. The race was contentious, and Sequiota had a fine 85 in the LifeLiner Speed Column.

Turfway (0/0) — Wildcats trounce Ben Simmons & Louisiana St., 94-77, in men’s hoopball; Jamal Murray led Kentucky with 22 pts.

Turf Paradise (1/0) — Host Coyotes thrash Panthers, 5-1; Alex Tanguay scored twice for the winners.

WMF Report:

Early
Fair Grounds 6f
Gulf 7f
Los Alamitos 4½f
Keystone 5f, 1m
Santa Anita 6f
Turf Paradise 6f

Nocturnal Submission: Night off…

Thank you.
