First Post: Monday, July 8, 2024

As threatened a couple of months ago on this here Web log, here is Mother Nature making good on showing-out with her annual La-La Land trademark display of Jacaranda mimosifolia, mostly known just by the first name: jacaranda!

A little later than usual for these 2024 blooms now. But here they are! And now that the holiday is over, here are some floral fireworks for you if you’re in withdrawal, to add a little color, beauty & vibrancy to the otherwise drab & dull whitebread Christofascist existence that Project 2025 is ready to inflict upon U-S-A! U-S-A!

Gratuitous Horse Racing Tweet of Your Day:

And so it begins…

Not even Day 1 of the 2024 Saratoga meet proper, and the annual near-daily angst over the weather forecast for the southern Adirondacks has gotten underway big-time. On this coast, the Left Coast, Del Mar maybe has zero days (one, tops) of tossup forecasts during the summertime. Lots of angst, lots of agita, lots of Brioschi needed to get through that Swampatoga precip!
