Interesting ideas here. Of course it’s been decreed Nat’l. Prayer Day today, so the Serenity Prayer is a good one, regardless of affiliation, or even depth of belief.
Another group has a riff on this:
God, grant me the serenity
to accept the people I cannot change;
the courage to change the one I can;
and the wisdom to know that one is me.
Maybe if we all heeded that second one, a lot of unnecessary drama goes away. Maybe! It certainly could not hurt.
