‘Good yontiff’, ne’er said the Pontiff.

How’s your fast going over there? Pulling lint out of your pocket, throwing a stone in a pond, etc.? Well, that’s good. May you be inscribed in the Book of Life and so on.

Already a big one this morning at the Belmont, Race 2. It was a turf sprint, and you know how partial we are to those. Canarsie Kid, Dual Qualifier (81, 83), was the winner there at $30-even. As always, hope you had ’im.

Keystone 6 looks promising this afternoon, with the morning-line contenders not really doing it for the Robot Handicapper. Will Windex tears roll down its face, or will the Robot conquer this one and then round-up his fellow Robots and take over The Universe? It’s a start!

Also with promise is Indiana 6. These are the kinds of scenarios in which the Robot can see the crowd will be bamboozled. Or not. It’s not necessarily inscribed in the Book of Live Longshots, y’know?

Rounding out the triple is Finger 6. Can you believe that in a later race there today, the aptly named Aveenu Malcainu will not be running on this sacred occasion? He is needed to be recited at the synagogue, it appears.

As well, don’t forget to romp in the longshot playgrounds of newly opened Santa Anita and the always exciting Medium M later on. They are worth it if you work it.

All right, boychiks. Who by fire, who by water, who by questionable chalk.
